if you’re a 90s kid like me, you know the macarena. when the icnoic los del rios song came on the stereo at the 8th grade mixer evvvverybody was out on that dance floor. and when it came on the radio while you were in your room doing homework. you stopped. and danced.
and if you happen to know anything about rugby, you’ve probably heard of the haka. it’s a traditional maori war challenge dance that the all blacks (nz) do just before the game. it’s incredible to see in person if you’ve been hearing about it all your life. you can watch a very good version of the haka here.
